Tengo un pequeño problema con el mirc, y es q no se conecta. Uso el Ircap, y jarta del tema puertos, desactivé el firewall de nuestro querido USR9003.....así q se supone q todos los puertos los tengo abiertos.......no? :casstet:
Intento conectarme al webmaster ( java.ca.us.webchat.org (6667))y siempre me sale lo de ' connection timed out'. Y alguna vez q lo he intentado con el hispano, lo mismo.
Alguna idea? He leido en otros post sobre el tema, q probaran otros servers....pero el webmaster solo me sale ese :(
El puerto 6667 no funciona correctamente es este router, por lo que toda aplicación que lo use no funcionará. Este es el caso del irc y del msn, por ejemplo.
Una solución para el irc consiste en configurar el mIRC para que emplee por defecto un puerto distinto al 6667 defectuoso. Para ello, abre la ventana de configuración pulsando ALT+O y busca la categoría Connect/Options y escribe en Default Port, 6666. Cierras la ventana pusando OK y ya puedes conectarte a la mayoría de redes, sin necesidad de abrir ningún puerto y sin que tengas que especificar en número de puerto que quieres usar cada vez que te conectes a algún servidor.
Otra posibilidad es poner en router en monopuesto, así te funcionará también el msn, pero si tienes más de un ordenador no podrás hacer fácilmente esto sin que se queden sin conexión a internet todos los ordenadores de la red menos uno, porque en realidad, lo que haces es transformar el router en un modem.

Esk al final akaba konektando, pero jode tener k estar mirando pa el jaja. Mas k nada por si se puede arreglar y estoy haciendo el primo :P
Es normal que tarde tanto en conectarte al servidor. Lo que realmente sucede es que tú realizas una petición de conexión al servidor, y éste responde haciendo unas comprobaciones en tu puerto 1080 para después dejarte pasar.
Supongo que tienes cerrado el puerto 1080 en tu router y por eso, el servidor al que quieres conectarte no puede acceder y te niega la conexión hasta que, pasado el tiempo (1 minuto más o menos), te deja pasar.
Solución para que conecte rápido: abrir el puerto TCP 1080, entonces te dejará pasar casi instantáneamente.
Abrir un puerto es una decisión personal de cada uno, depende de cuánto te preocupen los temas de seguridad en la red, de si te has levantado de buen humor esta mañana...
Yo sólo puedo comentarte que llevo bastante tiempo con este router (desde marzo) y más tiempo todavía curioseando por foros de adsl y nunca me he encontrado nadie que haya tenido problemas con ese puerto; pero ya te digo, tenerlo abierto o no es decisión tuya, yo, personalmente no lo tengo abierto, pero es que soy un poco maniático con la seguridad (tengo el firewall del router activado y además el zone alarm pro, aparte de haber creado una red local con dos ordenadores para despistar un pelín más....jejejeeeee)
Bueno señor@s. La verdad que despues de mucho tiempo desconectado del foro me sorprende que aun hayan fallos de este tipo. Recemos para que no se trate de alguna putada que nos esten haciendo nuestros qeridos servidores (como es habitual en ellos).
Aporto mi granito de arena, por si sirve de algo. En mi caso tengo DESACTIVADO el firewall del router en XP Prof. (firewall del XP tambien desactivado). Y como es lógico no dejo mi ordenador a expensas de cualquier desaprensivo, para protegerme uso el Norton Firewall.
Desde el punto de vista técnico: La efectividad es plena y debería serlo en cualquier equipo y en cualquier sistema operativo. Por cierto el Norton Firewall figura como mejor firewall en la revista Computer Hoy. Tomar nota porque estas revistitas sirven de algo, a veces.
