Bueno eso es porque tienes algo que anda mal en tu maquina, te lo digo porque yo instale el mozilla firefox y a la primera me anduvo de bala, lamentablemente despues de utlizar el IE ya que algunas paginas estan configuradas para ese navegador, despues entre al MOZILLA y se me puso lento. Seguro "algo" se colo que hace que MOZILLA se tarde.

Yo uso Firefox 2.0 e IE7. El IE7 ha mejorado bastante respecto al IE6, aunque es casi una copia del Firefox. Personalmente prefiero el Firefox, es más personalizable y más práctico. El IE7 lo uso para visitar sitios Microsoft y los 4 que quedan optimizados sólo para IE.

Yo prefiero sin ninguna duda Firefox, y quién dijo que se queda con IE debería replantearselo.
Firefox es más lento que IE, por supuesto, pero eso siempre y cuando no esté configurado, o lo esté pero mal; en caso de tenerlo en condiciones es MUY superior en todos los aspectos, incluida la velocidad, que se ve mejorada considerablemente usando FasterFox (un addon).

Para los que todavía se resisten a deshacerse de IE, por las mencionadas páginas Made in Microsoft xD les recomiendo que prueben (sino lo han hecho ya) IETab; es un sencillo addon de mozilla que permite en cualquier momento, con un solo clic y directamente desde una pestaña de Firefox emular IE y poder navegar por cualquier página como si estúbiesemos usando el mismisimo IE, es una gozada!!
